Consumer Goods For a New World
This was an activist′s satirical response to corporate-owned media, consumer culture, and advertising. In an attempt to illustrate the interrelationships between these systems of control, I have chosen to present news headlines as literal consumer goods. Each of these products has been created by a fictional corporation called "Conglomerax". I chose to work specifically with recurring headline themes that capitalise on fear, death, and destruction.
