Large Portraits
This series celebrated the most wonderful and inspiring element in my life during my undergrad Art College years: my friends. The format emphasized how their personalities were bursting with exuberance and creativity, and I used range of mark-making techniques to capture that vitality. Influences for this series included Chuck Close, Lucien Freud, Georges Seurat, Jackson Pollock, and Roy Lichtenstein.
